Secondary glazing kit

Early days but so far so good.
You need to place rolls on a flat board to prevent falling apart.

Our Secondary Double-Glazing Kits come with two 30m rolls of Magnetic and Steel Tape, both measuring at 12.7mm with Tesa 4957 applied. It works as an additional layer of glazing for your existing windows. This will form a double glazed solution which you can fit yourself. Once fitted, the double glaze can easily be removed when not required. Secondary Double-Glazing helps with heat retention and reduced sound and is ideal for buildings where renovations are not possible; such as listed buildings..

The Steel Tape should be fixed to your window frame, whilst the Magnetic Tape should be fixed to the clear acrylic panel, which is then attached to the steel on the window frame.

You could also use the magnetic tape on some fine mesh which can act as a Fly Screen in the summer with the existing Steel Tape. You can also use Black Opaque acrylic which will create a Blackout window to stop light coming in.

This product is part of our warmroom range.

*Please note: acrylic panel NOT included.
