Choosing the Right Flexible Ferrous Sheet

Flexible ferrous sheet creates a magnetically receptive surface for compatible magnets and magnetic materials. It is used for changeable graphics, signs, retail and point-of-sale displays, exhibitions, noticeboards, whiteboards and other applications where magnetic graphics or components need to be attached and replaced.

Plain ferrous sheet is generally used as a backing layer for magnetic products. Self-adhesive ferrous sheet can be bonded to a suitable surface, while white matt, dry-wipe and chalkboard options provide different visible finishes. If the ferrous sheet needs to carry printed graphics, choose a suitably faced product rather than plain material and check its print compatibility before production.

Ferrous sheet is not itself magnetic. It provides the receptive surface to which magnetic sheet attaches. The two materials are often paired to create changeable display systems: one layer remains fixed while the other can be removed and replaced. The range includes different widths, thicknesses, finishes and roll lengths, although availability varies between products.
