supaferro® Flexible Iron Media

supaferro plain ferrous sheet provides a flexible, magnetically receptive surface for use with compatible magnetic materials. It is not magnetic and is generally used as a hidden backing layer or as a base for further lamination and conversion.

The range includes different thicknesses, which should be considered alongside the magnetic material and finished product. Plain ferrous sheet is not supplied with an adhesive or finished printable face. Where printing is required, it should be laminated with a suitable printable face unless compatibility with a particular construction has been separately confirmed.

supaferro ferrous sheet with self-adhesive combines a magnetically receptive ferrous face with a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the reverse. It is intended for bonding to a suitable smooth, rigid substrate, creating a receptive surface for compatible magnetic graphics or components.

The adhesive fixes the ferrous sheet to the substrate; it does not make the material magnetic or provide a printable face. Surface material, finish, cleanliness, installation temperature and service conditions can affect adhesion, so testing is recommended where the substrate has not previously been assessed.

supaferro ferrous sheet with white matt combines a magnetically receptive layer with a clean, low-sheen white face. It is used where the ferrous material will remain visible or where a faced material is required for printed graphics, signs, displays and visual-planning applications.

The current range includes adhesive-backed and non-adhesive products. Print compatibility must be confirmed for the selected grade, ink and printing process, as the face construction may differ between products. Samples can be supplied for testing before a larger or repeat print run.

For adhesive-backed grades, the receiving surface and application conditions should also be assessed before installation.

supaferro dry-wipe ferrous sheet combines a magnetically receptive layer with a white gloss writable face. It can receive compatible magnetic materials while providing a surface for notices, planning information and other content that needs to be updated regularly.

The range includes products with and without adhesive. The adhesive-backed grade is intended for installation on a suitable receiving substrate, while non-adhesive grades can be used within an assembled or converted system. Test the intended marker and cleaning method before regular use, particularly where the surface will be rewritten frequently.

supaferro ferrous sheet with chalk vinyl combines a magnetically receptive layer with a black chalkboard face. The current construction has a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for installation on a suitable smooth, rigid surface.

Once installed, the face can receive compatible magnetic materials while also providing a writable surface for menus, notices, labels and visual-planning information. Test the chosen chalk or writing medium and cleaning method before production or regular use.
