supamag® Magnetic Tape

EX066 supamag® Magnetic Tape features a mating surface, complemented by a UV coating and is extruded either plain or laminated with a premium adhesive. Mating involves a unique property where a cut section, when rotated 180 degrees, magnetises to itself. The premium adhesive, a modified solvent-based acrylic, resists plasticisers, ensuring a stronger bond than standard adhesives and suitability for PVC products.

Engineered for resilience, EX066 withstands high stress, aging effects, and is impervious to plasticisers and heat. Its adaptability includes materials with low surface energy, making it ideal for plastics and similar substrates. EX005 supamag® Magnetic Tape features a Mag A surface with a UV coating and a versatile selection of adhesive options. Choose from standard, premium, foam, or Tesa 51865 adhesive variants, or opt for the tape plain. Magnetic tape with a Mag A surface will magnetise to either steel or a corresponding Mag B tape.

EX067 supamag® Magnetic Tape is the sister of EX005 (above), as it features a Mag B surface with a UV coating and a versatile selection of adhesive options. Choose from standard, premium, foam, or opt for the tape plain. Magnetic tape with a Mag B surface will magnetise to either steel or a corresponding Mag A tape.

This variant of our Magnetic Tape is 25.3mm wide, features a premium adhesive, and perfectly aligns with our Steel Tape for a slimmer finish with an overall thickness of 1.7mm. As a Mag A profile, it magnetically attracts to its corresponding Mag B profile, resulting in an overall thickness of 3mm. The premium adhesive is a modified solvent-based acrylic with high resistance to plasticisers and heat, providing significantly higher bond strength than standard adhesives. It is also suitable for low surface energy products like plastics.
