supamag® Magnetic Tape

supamag is Anchor Magnets’ brand for flexible magnetic sheet and magnetic tape. This page covers the supamag® magnetic tape range, including profiles for closures, signs, displays, information holders, product assembly and removable components.

Products are available in different widths, thicknesses, magnetic configurations and adhesive options. The right choice depends on what the tape needs to attach to, whether one or both surfaces require a magnetic profile, the materials being joined and the conditions in which the finished product will be used.

Magnetic tape requires a suitable ferrous or magnetically receptive surface, a correctly selected opposing magnetic profile or a receptive material such as magfix® steel tape. Steel tape is not magnetic; it provides a surface for magnetic tape where the existing substrate is not receptive. Choosing and Ordering supamag® Magnetic Tape

The supamag range includes magnetic tape for suitable steel surfaces, use with magfix® steel tape, corresponding Mag A and Mag B pairs, mating profiles and other specified pole arrangements. Products are available in different widths, thicknesses and plain or adhesive-backed constructions.

Products shown as available online can be purchased directly from this page. For larger quantities, repeat requirements or planned call-off orders, contact Anchor Magnets to discuss availability and supply.

Tape can be supplied in rolls, cut to specified lengths or kiss cut to make repeated application of smaller pieces quicker. Bespoke magnetic extrusion is also available where a standard width, thickness or profile does not meet the requirements of the finished product. Samples can be supplied for application and adhesive testing before a larger order is placed.

You do not need to know the correct profile before contacting us. Tell us what the tape will be used for, the two surfaces or components being joined, whether it needs to attach to steel, steel tape or another magnetic profile, and any known dimensions, quantities or service conditions. Our team can then help identify a suitable magnetic configuration, adhesive and supply format.
