supamag® Magnetic Sheet

Plain isotropic magnetic sheet is a flexible, general-purpose option for magnetic graphics, labels, components and converted products. It can be laminated or bonded to another material where a printable, decorative or functional surface is required.

Compared with anisotropic sheet, isotropic material generally offers greater flexibility but lower pull forces at a comparable thickness. It is therefore suited to applications where the material needs to be easy to handle or conform to a curved surface and very high holding force is not the main requirement.

The range also includes a double-sided grade that is magnetic on both faces. This can be used as part of interchangeable display systems in which the sheet needs to connect with a magnetically receptive layer on either side.

Plain anisotropic magnetic sheet is manufactured to provide greater magnetic performance than a comparable isotropic grade. It is intended for applications where holding force is more important than maximum flexibility, including heavier converted components and demanding magnetic fixing or display applications.

The available grades differ in thickness and pull force. Performance will also depend on the ferrous surface, the area of contact and whether vinyl, laminate or another material creates a gap between the magnet and the surface.

Anisotropic sheet is not automatically the best choice for every project. An isotropic grade may be more appropriate where lower weight, easier handling or greater flexibility matters more than maximum holding force.

This grade combines flexible magnetic sheet with a white matt PET face. It is intended for printed or converted graphics, POS, retail displays and visual-planning applications where a matt PET surface is required.

The available products differ in construction and magnetic performance, so the thinner grade should not be treated as interchangeable with the higher-pull anisotropic version. The right material will depend on the finished graphic, required flexibility, surface contact and how the product will be printed or converted.

PET describes the face material only and should not be taken as a claim about the environmental performance of the complete product. Confirm compatibility with your printing process before production.

supamag magnetic sheet with white gloss has a magnetic reverse and a smooth white gloss face for graphics, signage, retail displays, exhibition materials and POS applications where a gloss finish is required.

It is available in several widths, thicknesses and roll lengths. Select the grade according to the required finished appearance, handling properties and magnetic performance rather than pull force alone.

Print and ink compatibility can vary by printing process. Check the relevant technical data or speak to Anchor Magnets before production if the material has not previously been tested on your equipment.

supamag adhesive-backed magnetic sheet combines a magnetic face with pressure-sensitive adhesive on the reverse. The adhesive side can be bonded to a suitable print, card, board or manufactured component to give it a removable magnetic fixing.

It is used for magnetic signs, interchangeable graphics, POS components, visual-planning materials and product assembly. The finished item can then be positioned on a suitable ferrous or magnetically receptive surface.

Adhesive suitability should be tested where the surface or application is uncertain.

supamag magnetic sheet with chalk vinyl combines a black chalk-vinyl face with flexible magnetic sheet on the reverse. It can be positioned on a suitable ferrous or magnetically receptive surface and written on using compatible chalk or liquid-chalk pens.

The removable format is useful for frequently updated notices, menus, labels and visual-planning boards in settings such as cafés, restaurants, education and workplaces.

Test the chosen writing instrument and cleaning method on a sample before regular use, particularly where the surface will be rewritten frequently.
