Joining Large-Format Graphics with magedge®

Most flexible magnetic tapes are designed to attract through their broad faces. magedge works differently: its magnetic attraction is concentrated along the narrow edge of the profile. When the corresponding red and blue components are fitted to adjoining graphic panels, their edges attract and draw the panels together.

This makes the product particularly relevant where a large display is made from separate printed panels. Rather than acting as the main support for the display, magedge forms the connection between the neighbouring graphic edges. The quality of the finished join depends on accurate application, suitable graphic materials and correct alignment within the supporting display system.

The stocked magedge pack contains one 10m red coil and one 10m blue coil. It is suitable for direct online ordering where the standard profile meets the requirements of the project.

Anchor Magnets can also support larger quantities, repeat requirements and applications that need to be tested before an order is placed. Samples can be discussed where the profile needs to be checked against a particular graphic material, adhesive surface or display construction.
