clipmag® Retail Graphic Holders for Changeable Displays

clipmag is a magnetic graphic holder for displaying posters, promotional graphics and signage that need to be changed regularly. Two corresponding magnetic strips open to receive the graphic and close together to hold it in position.

The holder can be supplied with adhesive backing for suitable non-ferrous surfaces such as windows, or magnetic backing for suitable steel and other ferrous surfaces. Lengths, colours and backing options can be discussed with Anchor Magnets to suit the display and installation surface.

A practical way to hold frequently changed graphics

Promotional posters, information signs and campaign graphics often need to be updated long before the surrounding display is replaced. clipmag® provides a reusable holding method for these applications: the holder remains part of the display while the graphic can be removed and changed.

Instead of piercing the media with pins, holding it with individual clips or applying adhesive directly to the print, clipmag grips the edge of the graphic between two magnetic strips. The strips open when the graphic needs to be changed and close again around the replacement.

The magnetic gripping strips and the installation backing perform different jobs. The strips grip the graphic. The backing attaches the complete holder to the display surface. Adhesive-backed clipmag can be considered for suitable non-ferrous surfaces, while magnetic-backed clipmag is intended for suitable steel or other ferrous surfaces. These are alternative formats rather than two backings used together.

Custom lengths can be supplied to suit different poster widths, display fixtures and repeat installations. Colour and adhesive options are also available, although the final selection should be checked against the surface, graphic and intended use. If branded versions are required, Anchor Magnets can confirm what current customisation options are possible.

For larger graphics, heavier media or displays that will be changed frequently, testing is important. The required holder length and number of supported edges will depend on the complete application. Anchor Magnets can discuss samples, prototypes, bulk quantities and repeat supply before a wider installation or store rollout.
